Iberostar Founty Beach

The Ocean Golf Course

The “Golf de l’Océan” is situated in 15 minutes of the city center of Agadir, in the forest of Bensergao.
The architect BELT COLLINS benefited from a surface of more than 90 hectares in edge of the oued Souss to draw three 9 holes: Dune, Desert and Garden who compose this magnificent course.
The golf course is set on natural sand dunes and plant of eucalyptus, tamarisk, cypress, mimosa, brooms, palm trees and diverse flowers to which were added 4 lakes.
The plan thus offers a natural relief and fairways by place rather narrow giving to this course a variety in the difficulties.
A driving range of more than 30 places and a length of 300m in descent offer a panoramic view on the course.
The “Golf de l’Océan” marks its originality with a clubhouse in the American architecture.

For many years Agadir was a beautiful place, wonderful weather but unfortunately no golf. Thankfully, that has now been remedied!
We will be based at beautiful Iberostar Founty Palace with 2 huge pools, situated on the beach and just 5 minutes from the marina.
The golf however is the real bonus! No less than 3 courses within 15 minutes (maybe less) - two are 27 holes and the best one is 36 so spoiled for choice
Our first trip is early March, and it really is a great find.
